My Favorite Albums of 2019 2019-12-19 Entertainment Last year I did podcasts so this year I’ll do music. Singer/Songwriter/Indy Purple Mountain - Purple Mountain - Reminds me of ‘I love you, honeybear’ as album with superb songwriting and pacing. Craig Finn - I Need a War - Get beyond the voice sounding like Springsteen and it’s brilliant work. Jenny Lewis - On the Line - Catchy Singer/Songwriter grew on me like last year’s Kacey Musgrave. Eerie Wanda - Pet Town - Nice soft tunes, bring some bubblegum. Electro Crazy P - Age of the Ego - near perfect neo-Disco. Xeno & Oaklander - Hypnos - New-new wave? DM fans should circle. High Tides - Paradise Daze - Could be for Washed Out fans who don’t want singing. Move D - Building Bridges (DJ Mix) - Background beats. Leif - Loom Dream - electronic soundscape Lindstrom - On a Clear Day I Can See You Forever - Only 4 songs, but impactful and unpredictable Teebs - Anicca - Nice sounding and consistent.
